Farghana Qasimova

Farghana Qasimova is one of the leading voices in Azerbaijani mugham music. Daughter of the legendary mugham master Alim Qasimov, she brings her own refined artistry to this traditional genre while respecting its roots.

She first took stage tours with her father at age sixteen. Her early exposure led her to grow rapidly as a performer, gaining praise for her emotional delivery and her ability to bridge classical mugham with modern sensibilities.

Farghana studied mugham at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory from 1996 to 2000. She has performed both solo and alongside her father in prestigious international events and festivals. Her solo appearances include the Women’s Voices Festival in Belgium as well as other stages in Europe and beyond.

Her recordings with Alim Qasimov, especially on albums like The Legendary Art of Mugham and Love’s Deep Ocean, are viewed as significant contributions to spreading mugham globally.

For HP Talents, Farghana offers not only powerful vocal performances but also a deep heritage, versatility, and emotional intensity that can enrich cultural productions and music events.
